This is the website of eMedvertise N.V., located at Mahaaiweg 6 in Willemstad, Curaçao. If you visit this website or apply through this website, you leave your details with us. But what exactly do we do with that data? Below you can read which rules there are and how we adhere to them.
Cookies! What are those?
A cookie is a small file that is sent by an internet server and that is installed on the hard disk of your computer. This file keeps track of the visited website and contains a number of details about this visit. eMedvertise uses these cookies to improve the content of our website. No commercial use is made of these cookies and the data obtained from them will not be stored longer than necessary.
If you do not want to accept cookies, you always have the option to indicate this yourself in your browser. In addition, you can also delete all information previously saved through the settings of your browser. If you disable cookies, certain features of our website may not work or you may not be able to use certain services.
Respect privacy! We adhere to the rules
eMedvertise attaches great importance to privacy and data protection. We therefore handle your details carefully and comply with the applicable (European) privacy legislation. The information from the application procedure will be handled confidentially and will only be used to make a responsible recruitment and selection process possible. We will not provide information to third parties unless we are required to do so by law. By applying for a vacancy within eMedvertise, you agree that your personal data will be processed by eMedvertise and included in our database.
How do we get our information?
We collect certain information during your visit to our website. During a possible application process, we also request various information from you to be able to properly assess and handle your application and to maintain contact with you.
- We collect information that you provide to us.
To apply or to have a cup of coffee with us, we ask you to provide us with certain (contact) details. This information may vary per vacancy. It generally concerns the following data: gender, first name, last name, e-mail address, telephone number, street, house number, place of residence and date of birth. In addition, we process the data that you provide to us through your CV or letter of motivation.
- We collect information through automated methods.
We also use automated technology to collect information from your computer system or mobile device when you visit our website. Automated technology includes cookies and web beacons. Data that we can collect in this way are for example:
IP address;
operating system and browser type of your computer or mobile device;
type of mobile device and its settings;
the pages you visit on our website and how long you stay on that page;
This data can not be traced to you as a person. We collect this data to measure the effectiveness of our website and our communication and to make improvements.
We collect information through third parties
For certain positions we ask candidates in the application procedure to do a so-called online DISC test. We use an external party for this purpose. We will receive the results of your test from that party.
Since eMedvertise attaches great importance to finding the right candidates for the open vacancies, candidates are therefore regularly screened through Google Search and Social Media. By submitting your application you agree that we also collect data about you in this way.
Your data?! We deal with that carefully
Your personal information will only be used for the purpose for which it is collected and will not be used for other purposes. This means that we only use your data for:
measuring and improving our services and website;
assessing and processing your application;
to draw up anonymous statistical data such as the number of job applicants per job vacancy and the speed of job vacancies;
to adjust and improve the recruitment and selection process.
If your application is interesting, your data will be shared with people within the organization who are involved in the application process. Your data will not be shared outside the organization.
We protect your data
We also take security measures to limit misuse of and unauthorized access to your personal data. In particular, we take the following measures:
access to personal data is protected with a username and password;
the data is stored after receipt in a separate, protected system;
we take physical measures for access protection of the systems in which personal data are stored;
our (technical) suppliers of equipment and infrastructure comply with applicable ISO standards, such as ISO-27002;
We use secured connections (Secure Sockets Layer or TLS) that protect all information between you and our website when you enter personal data.
We do not store your data longer than necessary
Application information will be destroyed by us no later than four weeks after the end of the application procedure. Do you want us to keep your application data longer to be able to approach you for a suitable vacancy at a later date? Mention it explicitly in your application. In that case, your data will be stored for a maximum of 12 months, after which all data will be completely removed from our application system. If you do have an interim objection to the storage of your data, you can simply send it by e-mail to [email protected].
You can always request access to, change, deletion or transfer of your data
If you wish, eMedvertise can provide you with an overview of your personal details that are known to us. If this information proves to be incorrect or if it is stored in violation of the applicable laws and regulations, we will correct this information.
You can also appeal to the right to forget. In such a case, your personal data - insofar as we still have it - will be permanently deleted or anonymised. Do you want to receive the personal information you have provided to us? That is of course also possible.
To appeal to one of the above rights please send an e-mail to [email protected].
